Virtual visits, also known as telehealth, give you access to health care providers outside of
the provider’s office, such as from home or work.

We are happy to provide telemedicine as alternatives for our patients.

For those who are unable to travel to Plantation for an in-office consultation, we welcome you to submit your information and schedule a virtual appointment. To get the most out of this type of appointment, there are a few things we will need from you:

• Patient forms, including your medical history.

• X-ray or MRI of your areas of concern.

• A quiet, well-lit room with a strong Wi-Fi signal.

Dr. Asghar will review all of your information prior to your consultation and will be ready to discuss your options and his recommendations during your virtual consultation.

Meet remotely with your provider

Telemedicine is the practice of delivering medical services remotely via telecommunications technology. It entails diagnosing, treating, and keeping track of patients when they’re in another location, frequently through video calls, phone calls, or secure messaging systems.

Call us at (954) 22-ELITE (223-5483) to schedule your appointment. Once you are scheduled you will receive instructions prior to your appointment.

No, there is no extra cost in comparison to an in person visit.

The majority of insurances, particularly Medicare and Medicaid, now offer telemedicine appointment options. Co-pays depend on your insurance plan and function just like they would for a typical office visit. To find out if your plan is covered before the appointment, get in touch with your insurance company.

If patients are more then 10 minutes late for their Telehealth appointment, the appointment will be cancelled.
